IFOY AWARD to Publish Independent Test Results 2025
- Innovation Checks und Testberichte für 17 Finalisten ab sofort online verfügbar.
Ismaning near Munich, June 5, 2025. The IFOY organization has published the test results from this year’s audit. All tested products and solutions are finalists of the IFOY AWARD 2025, having prevailed against numerous international entries. In total, seventeen innovations from eleven providers across six countries underwent thorough evaluation during the final stage. Four start-ups competed in the spin-off category, the IFOY Start-up of the Year Award.
The IFOY AWARD is one of the most prestigious innovation prizes in intralogistics worldwide. Its testing methodology is internationally recognized as a quality seal for technical innovations in intralogistics. At the core lies the scientific Innovation Check, complemented by the IFOY Test and jury testing. Importantly, nominees are not directly compared to each other but are evaluated against their respective market competitors. The Innovation Check focuses on functionality, implementation quality, degree of innovation, customer benefit, and market relevance. Leading scientists from Technical University Munich, Technical University Dresden, Fraunhofer IPA, and Fraunhofer IML conduct the evaluation. This process identifies and assesses technological advancements, successful recombinations, as well as genuine innovations.
Manually operated vehicles additionally undergo the IFOY Test, conducted by Dutch logistics journalist Theo Egberts, based on an extensive test database widely regarded as a benchmark across Europe.
The winners of the IFOY AWARD will be announced during a gala event on July 3rd.
