The beverage group is also responsible for the domestic German distribution of the Berlin based brewery BrewDog as well as the Spanish brand Estrella Galicia and other diverse international brands. Outside the beer industry, the family-owned company is active in the functional drinks segment with a stake in the Augsburg based start-up hye.

Kögel
Sustainable transport solutions are indispensable for transport fleets today. Freight forwarders and logistics companies are increasingly committing themselves to the lowest possible carbon dioxide footprint. Trailers from Kögel make a major contribution to ensuring that the implementation of these ambitious goals is successful. At the same time, the vehicle manufacturer's creative designers devote a great deal of energy to ensuring that the customer's economic efficiency does not fall by the wayside - true to the company's motto "Economy meets Ecology - Because we care".
The Euro Trailer sets standards: It is up to 1.38 metres longer and thus offers up to ten percent more transport volume than conventional trailers. Depending on the body version, it can transport up to ten cubic metres more volume or up to four additional pallets. This results in a considerable reduction in fuel consumption per transported pallet. Scientific studies confirm a ten percent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions with the same fuel consumption compared to a standard trailer.
With trailers and swap bodies from Kögel, the customer is equipped for combined road and rail transport. In this way, the strengths of the individual modes of transport can be combined: high flexibility and special environmental compatibility. An outstandingly versatile talent here is the multifunctional Kögel Port 45 Triplex container chassis - a lightweight chassis with centre extension which is suitable for the transport of all ISO and high-cube containers. For road transport, Kögel customers benefit from the innovative NOVUM generation. This includes the Cargo, Mega and Light Plus flatbed vehicles. Thanks to an innovative design, these vehicles allow a very high degree of customisation, with which Kögel responds to the most diverse requirements of the market.
"The IFOY AWARD is an outstanding event that rewards the courage to innovate. The expert jury attaches particular importance to the practical benefits, sustainability and cost-effectiveness of the products in the test. In this way, the IFOY AWARD sets the same priorities as Kögel's designers and technicians. The partnership between the IFOY AWARD and Kögel is therefore consistent and a great pleasure for us."
Thomas Eschey, Managing Director Production and Technology, Kögel Trailer GmbH
