Innovation is not just the latest technology or a brand new product. For me, innovation means an ingenious solution that has been specially developed for a specific area.
What else can companies surprise you with as an IFOY jury member?
I am always surprised by the self-confidence of the next generation of leaders. Today’s managers are younger and more active in their thinking and propose products and solutions that are more unique.
What is the most striking trend in intralogistics at the moment?
I think the current trend in intralogistics is the concept of green and sustainable development and the digital transformation of the supply chain.

The logistics industry is an industry with high energy consumption and emissions, and many companies are feeling the pressure of sustainable development. Some large logistics companies are currently implementing sustainability projects that can bring broader and more diverse benefits and development opportunities.
What are the characteristics of a successful intralogistics solution?
A successful intralogistics solution does not necessarily have to be the most technologically advanced or comprehensive, but it must be the solution that best meets the needs of the user companies and helps them to achieve the greatest possible benefit.

On the one hand via the performance parameters of the product, and on the other via the usage survey.
