IFOY AWARD: Three New Judges Appointed
The IFOY Organization announces the appointment of three new members to the IFOY AWARD jury. The newly elected jurors are Michaela Holy, editor-in-Chief of the logistics magazine dispo (Austria), Heiner Sieger, editor-in-Chief of e-commerce magazine and Digital Business (Germany), and Peter de Weerd, editor-in-Chief of Warehouse Totaal (Netherlands).
Since 2021, Michaela Holy has covered logistics, supply chains, intralogistics, and warehouse automation at dispo. Before joining the publication, she was responsible for developing and expanding the online and social media offerings of its sister publication, INDUSTRIEMAGAZIN.
Heiner Sieger focuses on the key areas transforming retail, industry, and SMEs—from digitalization and artificial intelligence to supply chains, fulfillment, and intralogistics. He also moderates specialist formats such as “Ecommerce Masterminds” and already serves as a jury member of the Logistics Hall of Fame.
Peter de Weerd has headed Warehouse Totaal, one of the Netherlands’ leading trade publications for the warehousing and intralogistics sector, since 2021. He has been reporting on warehouse automation, robotics, material flow, and artificial intelligence for more than 15 years.
The IFOY jury now comprises 26 editors-in-chief and publishers of leading logistics publications, as well as experts from 18 countries. They test the finalists and decide who will receive an IFOY AWARD.
The application phase for the IFOY AWARD 2027 is currently underway. The products and solutions that have reached the final round will be announced at the end of the year. The finalists will traditionally take part in the IFOY Audit, which will be held on January 26 and 27 as part of TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS in Dortmund.
Across several thousand square meters of exhibition space, the TEST CAMP gives visitors the opportunity to extensively test numerous innovations and new developments from every area of intralogistics. One of the highlights in 2027 will be the special “Exoskeletons & Ergonomics” testing area.
