SLEQHexcellence

Kompass360Grad

KOMPASS360°’s SLEQHexcellence makes real-world intralogistics performance measurable. More than 100 sensor, process, and environmental parameters are captured during ongoing operations, consolidated into cause-and-effect relationships, and translated into concrete, vendor-neutral recommendations with ROI and payback calculations. This enables KOMPASS360° to combine Safety, Lean, Environment, Quality, and Health into a data-driven basis for decision-making in brownfield optimization.

Description

SLEQHexcellence is KOMPASS360°’s data-driven analysis and decision-making solution for operational intralogistics. It is based on the Health-Lean Management framework, which connects Safety, Lean, Environment, Quality, and Health through a shared data and impact model.

More than 100 measurement parameters relating to people, processes, and the operating environment are captured during ongoing operations. These include movement and posture data, vital signs, process times, travel distances, waiting times, as well as lighting, noise, air quality, and climate conditions. SLEQHexcellence uses this data to identify the root causes of productivity losses, physical strain, quality deviations, and unstable processes, translating its findings into specific, prioritized actions. These range from organizational adjustments and ergonomic workstation design to digitalization, material flow improvements, and automation solutions. For key measures, investment requirements, benefits, ROI, and payback are assessed. The focus is on brownfield environments where existing processes need to be measurably improved.

Innovations

The innovation behind SLEQHexcellence lies in combining real-time measurement, cause-and-effect analysis, and data-driven innovation scouting. More than 100 measurement parameters relating to movement, physiology, processes, and the work environment are captured together under real operating conditions and integrated into the Health-Lean Management framework. In addition, SLEQHexcellence draws on a growing database of completed before-and-after measurements and validated measures. This makes it possible to estimate, even before implementation, the likely impact of a measure on productivity, physical strain, absenteeism, quality, process stability, and regulatory requirements. Measures are therefore assessed not only from a technical perspective but also prioritized across departments according to their overall economic impact. For example, companies can compare whether a layout change, workstation redesign, digitalization, or automation offers the greatest potential for improvement before investing.

After implementation, the impact is assessed again using the same measurement setup.

The end-to-end logic is: Real-world operational data → Root cause → Validated solution option → Impact forecast → ROI → Re-analysis.

Market relevance

SLEQHexcellence targets companies with manual or partially automated intralogistics and production processes, particularly in warehousing, fulfillment, order picking, packaging, goods receiving, material supply, and production-related logistics.

Target customers include operators in industry, retail, e-commerce, logistics services, and manufacturing, as well as professionals responsible for operations, Lean, HSE/EHS, and site management. The solution is particularly relevant for existing brownfield environments, where established processes need to be further developed and investment decisions made, even though the actual causes of time losses, physical strain, or process instability are often unclear. SLEQHexcellence provides an objective basis for decision-making and can be used independently of the existing technology, both in individual work areas and on a recurring basis.

The solution is also suitable for independently validating new technologies and measures, as well as serving as a data layer for manufacturers, system integrators, consultants, and planners. The addressable market therefore spans a broad range of operational intralogistics and is not limited to any single technology.

Customer benefits

SLEQHexcellence provides customers with a reliable basis for decision-making rather than isolated measurements or generic recommendations. Under real operating conditions, it reveals where time and capacity are lost, which activities cause physical strain, and which process, layout, or environmental factors are responsible. These insights are translated into prioritized measures with clear information on effort, benefits, investment, ROI, and payback. A key advantage is its technology-neutral approach.

The focus is not on selling a particular technology, but on identifying the most effective measure for the specific process. This enables companies to plan investments based on data and prioritize them according to their expected impact. At the same time, SLEQHexcellence connects productivity with employee health. In a real-world logistics case, it achieved a 50% increase in productivity, a 62% reduction in physical strain, and a payback period of nine months. Follow-up analyses can objectively verify the actual impact after implementation and assess alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 requirements. This gives management and specialist departments a shared data foundation for investment decisions, occupational health and safety, and continuous improvement.
