The core of this startup is its proprietary LiDAR hardware, which eliminates the need for a rotating mirror system and integrates both software and hardware directly into the sensor itself – eliminating the need for an external evaluation unit. The product is primarily designed for perimeter security, bulk material contour measurement, and controlled access security. The device has received a special VDS approval for this sector and is seeking certification. It is not intended for safety applications. However, there are numerous potential applications in identification, tracking, and contour measurement. A combination with camera-based measurement is under consideration.

This sensor´s innovation level is particularly high because it replaces the complex rotating mirror typically found in laser scanners and LiDAR systems with a self-developed hardware solution.
