For me, innovation means an ingenious solution that has been specially developed for a specific area. <\/p><p><strong>What else can companies surprise you with as an IFOY jury member?<br><\/strong>I am always surprised by the self-confidence of the next generation of leaders. Today&#8217;s managers are younger and more active in their thinking and propose products and solutions that are more unique. <\/p><p><strong>What is the most striking trend in intralogistics at the moment?<br><\/strong>I think the current trend in intralogistics is the concept of green and sustainable development and the digital transformation of the supply chain.<\/p><p><strong>Can you remember the first IFOY winner who was also your favorite?<br><\/strong>The ESR 1000 from Crown<\/p><p><strong>How much has the focus on sustainability changed intralogistics?<br><\/strong>The logistics industry is an industry with high energy consumption and emissions, and many companies are feeling the pressure of sustainable development. Some large logistics companies are currently implementing sustainability projects that can bring broader and more diverse benefits and development opportunities. <\/p><p><strong>What are the characteristics of a successful intralogistics solution?<br><\/strong>A successful intralogistics solution does not necessarily have to be the most technologically advanced or comprehensive, but it must be the solution that best meets the needs of the user companies and helps them to achieve the greatest possible benefit.<\/p><p><strong>How did you get into intralogistics?<br><\/strong>Quite simply, I have a passion for it.<\/p><p><strong>For you, innovative intralogistics means &#8230;<br><\/strong>&#8230; a process driven by digitalization that breaks up traditional intralogistics and develops it further towards greater efficiency.<\/p><p><strong>What makes a product innovative?<br><\/strong>Technology<\/p><p><strong>What does a solution have to offer to convince you?<br><\/strong>Technologies or products that have value and significance for the industry as a whole, or content that undermines the perception of the industry.<\/p><p><strong>Where will intralogistics be in ten years&#8217; time?<br><\/strong>It will be an unmanned system without personnel, in which machines can communicate freely.<\/p><p><strong>How do you go about evaluating products?<br><\/strong>On the one hand via the performance parameters of the product, and on the other via the usage survey.<\/p><p><strong>Which criteria are particularly important to you?<br><\/strong>The voices of the users.<\/p><p><strong>What is your highlight at the IFOY AWARD?<br><\/strong>The internationality. Companies from all over the world &#8211; including China &#8211; can take part in the IFOY AWARD.
