Mats Udikas
Editor-in-Chief Transportnytt

Mats Udikas (born in 1957) is editor-in-chief for "Transportnytt" since 2005.
Udikas has a broad experience as trade press journalist. He has covered electronics and computer science (Elektroniktidningen 1982), health care (MET 1991) industrial automation (Automation 1997), machining (Verkstadstidningen 1997). Positions were specialist writer, news editor and managing editor. An early highlight is the position as assistant to the technical attaché at the Swedish Consulate in San Francisco (1986). Udikas has also been consultant at JG-Citat, (2001), Stockholm, with Ericsson, Pfizer and SSAB as customers.
Udikas is regularly arranging seminars and speeches in cooperation with event and trade fair organisations. He is member of the logistics association TTF-Forum för Logistik.

University degree in Journalism from University of Gothenburg and studies in mathematics, physics and computer science at Lunds University.


Transportnytt

Transportnytt is one of the leading Swedish magazine for material handling, logistics and transportation. The magazine covers both technical issues well giving the market perspective and presents the latest news in the area. Transportnytt has been arranging the Swedish lift truck driver competition Truckförar-SM for ten times since 1990, with the industry and trade fairs as partners.
